Dr Angeline fell in love with the miracle of life in obstetrics but her passion for surgery led her to delve deeper into minimally invasive surgery. She believes that the challenges faced by surgeons learning MIS are more than compensated by the superior surgical outcomes enjoyed by patients. In line with this, she has been championing MIS in Sarawak and travels regularly to provide minimally invasive surgery and training to specialists in different hospital in the state.

She has been blessed with good teachers and mentors in her career and tries to give back to the faculty. As such, she is also actively involved with training for Sarawak advanced life support in obstetrics (SALSO) and the Sarawak MRCOG Survival Course (SaMS). Her goal is to bring training and advancement to doctors who may not be able to afford the time or the money to go for training overseas
