Professor Islam M. Saadeldin obtained his DVM and master, degrees from Zagazig University, Egypt, and PhD from Seoul National University, South Korea. Professor Saadeldin, a Senior Scientist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, is internationally recognized for pioneering work in reproductive biotechnology. Currently, his research focuses on CRISPR/Cas9-engineered extracellular vesicles and modeling endometrial organoids to support early embryo development, aiming to enhance implantation and pregnancy outcomes in cloned and transgenic animals. His prolific output includes over 200 publications, two edited books, and four patents. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Dr. Saadeldin has received numerous prestigious accolades at both national and international levels. These include the Fuller Bazer SSR International Scientist Award (USA), the IETS Early Career Achievement Award (USA), the Egyptian State Prize (Egypt), Shoman Prize (Jordan), Almarai Prize (Saudi Arabia), Misr Elkheir Prize (Egypt), The Interstellar Initiative for Young Investigators (USA-Japan), and the Asian Universities Alliance Scholar Award (China).
