Ts Dr. Norhayati binti Liaqat Ali Khan is a Senior lecturer with 13 years of teaching experience (teaching anatomy for diploma dental assistance, undergraduate and postgraduate preclinical years dental students) cum the Head of the Department of the Centre of Preclinical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).  She began her postsecondary education at Private college in Malaysia in year 2001 with a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. She later earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical science (year 2004-2008), and a master's degree in medical science (anatomy) with research on Bispenol A, an endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on female reproduction (2008-2012) from the University of Malaya. After 6 years of service in UiTM, she obtained SLAB scholarship to pursue her PhD studies. In 2022 she successfully completed her PhD from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. Under the guidance and supervision of Professor Alireza Fazeli, she has become involved in EV research since year 2018. Her goal upon her return to Malaysia in 2022 was to bring together all EV researchers in the country, increase awareness on EV research through disseminating EV knowledge and finally to promote greater EV research development di Malaysia. Her moto in life is “IQRAQ” – READ..because “The more you learn, the less you know, therefore never stop exploring”.
